Onaqui Range Clean Up Day

We made a trip back to the Onaqui Range to participate in a Collaborative Range Clean Up and Education Day. It was great to give back while meeting new faces and seeing familiar ones as well.

It was wonderful to know that through this cool community we were able to make the range safer for all the wildlife that calls the range home by removing old barbed wire fencing and T posts. We picked up trash, and broken glass that was carelessly left behind. While we wished Stargazer and Nora still lived on the range, it is great to know the other wild ones will be a bit safer through this group’s efforts.

It was also really fun to hear stories about Stargazer and Nora from other’s perspectives. Their time on the range made lasting impressions on many folks and it was heartwarming to learn how seeing them impacted their lives. Some of these stories we never heard before! Our little family is humbled to be their stewards in this new domestic world and we promise to take great care of them!
